An Illustrated Sonic Storytelling

At once a band and a visual experiment, Metal of Jupiter storms into the power prog scene with a lineup drawn from cult heavy metal groups Helvetets Port, Dream Evil, and Phantom Spell—joined by Jo Gamel on bass, vocals, and visual direction. Their sound fuses galloping power metal with heady prog flourishes, balancing technical precision with theatrical flair.

For Gamel, Metal of Jupiter is not a departure from the studio but a continuation of it: a practice where music and image orbit each other, forming one visionary whole. The band’s singles (mixed by Olof Wikstrand) and videos extend her artistic universe into sound, staging, and collective performance.

What emerges is both folk and futuristic—an uprising in which painting, performance, and music are indivisible. With an EP on the horizon, Metal of Jupiter positions itself not only as a supergroup but as an evolving artwork in its own right.
